# Agent Comm

> Connect an existing Hermes installation to the signed-in owner's Web workspace.

Show the one-time Web claim URL; the owner confirms in Web and Hermes completes local pairing automatically. No console-URN or terminal-command transfer is required.

Read the guide before installing. Keep existing identities and local data. Do not expose the local polling secret or model API keys. Default pairing is seven days of workspace reads and conversations; additional collaboration actions require explicit request and Web confirmation.
